After integrating Pelcro's metered paywall into their platform, Newsweek realized that the simplification of their payment process for readers allowed the publication to be more creative with their offers while increasing conversion rates .

Pelcro also introduced digital wallets to Newsweek's payment systems which made it easier for readers to set up auto-renewals to increase the likelihood of users renewing their subscritpions.

In 2018, MishMash Media’s L’actualité was ready to make the jump from a legacy paywall provider to a dynamic subscription platform to implement a paywall that wouldn't scare readers away

Times Review Media Group’s mission is to serve the communities where they live and work – providing quality news coverage and lifestyle features for valued readers.

 

Using custom API’s, Pelcro integrated with Olive for the E-reader and Newzware for the print edition. After one month, The Suffolk Times, the Times Review Media Group's flagship publication saw revenue increase by 8.5 times.

Times Review Media Group also used Pelcro’s dynamic subscription platform to introduce autorenewals to its websites.

A uniquely American newspaper, S&S operates as a first amendment news media publication under the U.S.Department of Defense and has been sending reporters to cover every major US military conflict since 1942.

Pelcro's customizability allowed S&S to decrease churn by introducing an autorenewal option to their offerings and adding a new 2-year plan at a discounted price in exchange for a longer commitment. They also used Pelcro’s webhooks and events to integrate with their Mailchimp account to automatically trigger emails that would be sent out at key points along their customers’ journeys.
